I just wanted to report I have tried stacking the new converter. The main reason is I was a bit disappointed there was no 2.0 launched. That would have been the ideal combination for my 200, 300 and 60-250. So when they finally arrived 1.5 weeks ago, I bought two :-)
One of course works great, but how does two actually work.
First some technical limitations. The camera does not recognise there are stacked converters, so inly multiplies the focal length ones.... That is a pity as it will give the wrong information to SR. I have no idea if this is a bug, or if it is a technical limitation with the way Pentax lenses communicate.
I did expect AF not to work on my DA300 or at least to be very poor, and I was right. I managed to get the focus to lock, but it took a lot of time and could not always be trusted. IF you manage to get the focus right, the combintation actually delivers decent quality.
Attaching a photo, ISO 1600, no tripod at full and 100% crop. One without noce reduction and one with (and a bit more sharpening).

Was driving around with a friend today, searching for good photo opps. When we found this young forest of birch trees, we had to stop and spent 15-20 minutes there. I used it as an opportunity to use the FLU-card and controlled the camera from my iPAD.
