Oh $DEITY no...the front dial of the Q is mostly useless, given the limited amount of configuration that can be configured onto it.
Good idea, lousy implementation on the Q-series. Doing it right, it would be 4 positions, each of which able to hold a *complete* set of configuration parameters/settings (say, position 1: "RAW, bracketing +/- 1, ..." position 2: "HDR, ...") instead of this current "instagram-inspired" jpeg-only-filtering that's on the Q.

"Thinning the heard" could, in that case - where the object of a man's hobby, or what they represent, being a problem - also mean the man being better off getting a divorce-lawyer, could it not?
Not trying to be provocative, but if a relationships is in the state that you describe, then it's effectively over already.

Sounds like quite a death-truck, Racer X 69....are you doing this on purpose, or are there really no ways of avoiding executing beautiful little living beings when driving in your neck of the woods?
I don't drive a truck, and only about 1/3 of the milage that you do, but I've never not been able to break to avoid running over (or into) any living beings.

*grr* the white (and blue) ones are unavailable in my neck of the woods....and they're soo cool.
Btw., the K-01 is not a misunderstood camera - those who've held one do understand it perfectly, and I'm really looking forward to seeing a K-02 any day now ;)

His dossier with them is growing rapidly...I already filed two against him in the context of screw-cap wine and spray-cheese-in-a-can, respectively....

Maybe we could get a mudderator to remove the original post - thereby leaving OTness of this thread apocryphal for all eternity?

That's not beer, dude, it's a Heineken. Beer is for human consumption, Heineken is for.....well, I am not sure what it's actually useful for - except measuring snow-fall, apparently.

Ah....but you see, you guys in Potiers are doing it all wrong, stopping for red lights. In Paris (provided the license plate reads 75 and isn't on a rental) traffic rules are not as much rules as they are suggestions that you may, or may not, at your discretion, chose to follow, or (most likely) not. I can't remember the last time I saw a Parisian driver stop for red....nor the last time I stopped for red in Paris, without having all the cars behind me honk their horns in anger.....once last year, I even had a lorry driver get out of his truck, and come yell at me through the window, for having had the audacity to not run a red light when he was behind me....

Negative vs the 31Ltd also: slower (aperture-wise) than molasses. That's the really disappointing bit to me, it really really is nothing special to have a variable-aperture, slow (aperture-wise) zoom, regardless of ring colors...

Jean, I am afraid that I am going to have to report you to the authorities for this......in your adaptive country, wine in anything that collapses...or have a screw-on-cap....is reason for immediate expulsion.

Also, I have not heard the term "French cuff" used outside the USA, and certainly never in France.
And don't get me started on "Danish pastry" - seriously, it has nothing Danish to it, and in Denmark that stuff is called "wienerbrød" - which literally means "Vienna-bread", and which actually is in line with from where it originates. On that topic, there's no such things as a "cheese Danish".....no Dane in his or her right mind would put cheese on pastries from Vienna.

So, the scale that we're grading by is:
A - Abhorrent
B - Bad
C - Convenable
D - Decent
E - Excellent
F - Fantastic
Yes?

Hey, I'm a vegetarian? Does that mean that I'm a cow? I don't give milk, though, so I'm not in the cheese food-chain until, the very end.....
Also, the adjective you're looking for when describing me is "delightful" and not "delicious". .... ;)

Well, M was a girl....in some of the movies....so, I guess that the conclusion is that M is a transsexual.
I am not sure about either of Q or 007, though at least one of them *is* compensating for something....

Wireless tilt-screen, to avoid cables, eh? How do you suggest powering that beast? A screen is eating power like there's no tomorrow, so "wireless power" sounds like a bad idea, as does having a screen big enough to hold it's own D-Li 90 ....
Isn't Pentax already proposing something like that with the flu card + whatever screen you already have in your pocket?
