Cleaning out my photography gear after having sold off my Pentax system and I found 2 rear lens caps and 2 body caps that I thought someone could use. Not the cheap push on caps, but Pentax branded ones. Free to a good or bad home. Just pay postage.

Item Description
Selling the last bit of my Pentax gear after having transitioned over to Canon.
Pentax FA* 28-70 f2.8. Missing the PZ button, but aside from that is in great condition with only a few marks on the silver finish and scuffs on the lens hood. Was used as one of my main concert lenses. Comes with lens hood and front and rear caps, no case. $450
Pentax AF 540FGZ flash in good condition, has a few scratches. Purchased used locally last year. Comes with the case only - $80 or $50 if purchased w/the above lens

After more than a handful of fantastic years shooting Pentax, I've decided to switch to Canon due to their selection of long lenses.

I'm slowly selling my lenses to transition over to Canon. Up for sale are the 2 lenses I use the least often.
FA* 400mm f5.6 - Physically, the paint is chipped and scratched off in many places, optically, it's a clean, sharp gem. I've used this lens once or twice in the last 2 months, forgetting how sharp it is wide open. The lens hood comes with it, but will not stay on due to the little locking tabs wearing away. Comes with original bag. SOLD
FA 77mm f1.8 Ltd - One or two scuffs on the body, a bit of brassing around the focus ring but optically clean. Was received as a trade, and didn't come with a bag. SOLD

That Canon looks nice and it's still lighter than my Sigma :) I've heard that the DA* 300 has some vignetting on FF bodies. If it didn't I would've gone for that

I haven't had much time to get out shooting lately what with starting a new job. I'm glad I was out today, as cold as it was! I hate the cold, but love seeing the Short-eared Owls back in Vancouver :)

I don't own the DA* 300, but do have the FA* 300 and love it as a casual walk around lens. If you think you'll seriously get into birding, I'd either look at getting the Sigma 300 f2.8 + 1.4x TC or a used copy of the FA* 400mm f2.8. You will appreciate the an extra 100 - 120mm. If you want to bite the bullet and go big, the Sigma 500 f/4.5 is fantastic, and still my fave lens :) I'll take her through anything, hike for hours with her slung over my shoulder on my tripod.

Pentax K-3 Silver with D-BG5 Grip

Item Description
Well used Pentax K-3 Limited Silver edition for sale. Body shows signs of wear, what silver Pentax body or lens doesn't? I had a few issues where the shutter seemed to stick on continuous shooting, but that problem hasn't recreated itself in a year. Actuation count is 53,242. Comes with box, original accessories (including both battery trays for the grip) and a spare OEM battery (the grip doesn't come w/a battery). The limited brown leather lens strap has seen some good use, will include a fabric strap also.
