When I see moire examples online it usually takes me a minute to find the offending aberration. Maybe my eyes just aren't good at detecting it. With that said, the sharpness gain is marginal. I say that because I have to pixel peep to find it. I still went with the K5IIs.. Not sure why, maybe i just had the extra cash burning a hole in my pocket. I paid $690 on amazon for my copy a couple weeks ago. I think at that time the price difference was pretty minimal.

I'd really like to improve, I love all of these photos but I can be a bit biased. Give me your honest opinions about them. Emotional, Compositional, Editing, ect...

There are some truly gorgeous photographs in here. I just got my K5IIs last week and have only taken out on one outing so far. These all are HDRs utilizing one push bracketing and a remote (this was my primary reason for the upgrade) Lens was a Tamron 17-50 2.8.

I'm doing them a favor by making my wants known. Frankly Pentax not licensing to their costumers may have in fact been there demise. Ricoh should be happy customers are sticking around long enough to complain, and it sounds like Recoh is smart enough to listen.

I understand your irritation. My Kr has been giving me grief. In fact on vacation in January I found my self in Tokyo with a locked up camera!. I thought maybe it was the battery so I went all over the city looking for a battery caddie or replacement battery. Found a caddie and it still didn't work!! It would turn on, and then i would click the shutter, the shutter would flip and then the whole camera would lock up. So I went a whole day in Tokyo not being able to take photographs. That night at the hotel I got frustrated with it and tapped against a table top and it has worked fine ever since :lol:
I was a little mad at the time, but in hindsight, had that not happened I would have missed out on some awesome electronics stores I wondered into trying to find a battery caddie.
