What were the symptoms of this failure - focus locking up? I have a 77 that I have been delaying fixing. This makes sense, based on what its doing - I can manually rotate the focus a little either way then it stops.

I don't know what happened, but the focus ring on my 77 no longer rotates. Has anyone had this issue or know what may have happened? I'm fairly mechanical inclined, so part of me wants to take the back cover off and see whats inside, however I really don't want to cause any other issues on this.

I'm cuirious...
Often I see people selling star lenses, and the brag about it being a white star, or a green star or a red star. Is there really any meaning to the star color? The only place I see ANYTHING about star color is in the sale listing... I've serched around here or the net and never found any reference to a secret club that gets green stars and extra spectacular, super magic glass, where everyone else gets white stars and only great glass.
I'm guessing this is a myth.
Thoughts?

I have two sets of the Cactus Duo flash triggers. Like the other items I'm selling, I just have not used these. They are nice and convenient for shooting. I used them for some ebay listings I did a while ago and the ability to position and diffuse the light made the pictures much better. But that is the only time I used them. I guess I like outdoor and natural light better.
I can't see any markings on them. They will come in their original packaging with manuals, cords and the original batteries, but they are out of the wrapper.
$50 a set. If you want both, I'll ship them free.
