When I say "Look at the Viewfinder, not thru it", it's because many beginners look directly at their subject while looking thru the viewfinder. What they should be doing is using the viewfinder as a frame for the photo they are about to take. Look in the corners - are there distractions there? Look behind your subject. Is the background pleasing? Don't concentrate on the looking directly at your subject, but rather think about the final image- it's showing in the viewfinder right now!

Not sure I can help except to encourage you to keep at it 'cause I feel your pain. This very afternoon I spent 6 hours on my 16-45 lens which basically had the same problem. I got it apart and it took numerous attempts at getting it back together correctly. In the end, I dont know exactly what I did to fix it OR get it back together correctly, However, its working now.. not perfectly as the zoom has 1 spot where it sticks and takes a bit of force to continue. But it's working!

Actually, for the Windows Phone, only IE is available, so the Flu Card doesn't work. For Windows PC, laptops, and tablets, Chrome is available.

I've been using my old pentax wired remote on my K3 all weekend. Other than needing to wake the camera up by pressing the button and then pressing the button again to take a shot, it's working just fine. Sounds like the cable is not at fault since it works on the K5.
Wish I could shed some light on the situation...

Purchased as part of a K-3 kit from the PentaxWeb Store last month. I do not need the grip, so I'm selling it. It is brand new - I've not even opened the box.
