Beaut work. Very engaging pic. I've just bought the same lens, looking forward to some challenges with it.

Love the small size of my Pentax 50mm.
Agree that it may be slightly too long for some inside stuff.
My new Sigma 30mm 1.4, whilst a little bit bigger, is absolutely fantastic. Better every time I use it.
My K7 basically lives with one of those 2 primes on it now.
Horses for courses I guess.
Good luck, they're all great gear.

Dream bit of kit.
Terrific perspective the lens helps give, as you say.
Look forward to seeing some more shots with it. Good luck!

Amazing part of the world.
Number 2 is an absolute cracker, love the log leading us into the shot.
A real spring-snow feel to it, too.
Top stuff...

Love my 50mm Pentax, rarely comes off my K7. Loving the primes now, don't really miss having a zoom at all.
About a month ago I bought the Sigma 30mm 1.4 which is an absolute cracker. I bet the 31mm Pentax is beautiful too.
Personally these primes have been so fantastic to use (low light, bokeh, small) that I can't see myself going back to a zoom anytime soon...

All have a beautiful mysterious quality to them.
#2 is an absolute cracker; mood, drama and beauty.
Top stuff.

Here is the first snow of 2007 on Mt Buller in Victoria, Australia.
Sorry nothing more recent but snow is a bit scarce this time of year Down Under!
Cheers
