What do the letters M,F S etc. mean in the lens desaignation or description?
i.e. S 50 1.8

Sounds like it's not worth taking a chance on ruining a new camera over.
I think I'll just put it back with the 35mm and get one specifically for my K-r.

I was just swapping out camera bags and I found my old Minolta Auto 200x Flash that I used on one of my old 35mm cameras.
I'm just wondering, before I try it out, if this flash is compatible with my new K-r, and if it could damage it if I try it out.

Fresh Air is still doing great here.
Have you had a chance to try out he Blind Pig yet?
Used to be Mathis BBQ.
It's good too.
They use a sweeter sauce.
Different, but good.

I found a Pentax 55-300mm on sale at a very compeitive price to the Sigma, so I grabbed it.
I really do appreciate all the help.
Now I can't wait to get it home.

That is beautiful.
I've been checking out te pictures on the forum.
I'm amazed at how beautiful they are.

There is a Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 APO DG Macro for sale online and the seller told me that all he knoiws is that it is for Sigma DSLR cameras.
Does anyone know if it will fit my K-r?

Hello everyone.
I recently got back into photography while my wife and I were on one of our trips.
We were in Centra America and my little Cannon just didn't cut it.
A week ago I picked up a Pentax K-r and I love it.
Been wanting a DSLR for a while.
I'm looking forward to learning a lot on this forum, as well as contributing.
