Hi,
The CZJ 75-300mm seems to need something like +13 or so on the K5. On the K20, I had to adjust the autofocus module (3 screws under the baseplate) to accommodate all my lenses using from -10 to +10, this was before things got going on debugging.

Hi,
Well I had high hopes for the debug code. It wasn't some sort of crazy guess, it's the title of the file(from inhouse pentax) of their debug package. That is why I had high hopes! But there, Pentax has outflanked me/us,there must still be a file missing/or a manipulation unknown. But anyway, I've been playing with PKTether in the debug mode and it's capable of accessing the debug as is already been stated here. In fact it's excellent !!
Now I hope to be able to get sharp pictures with my Carl Zeiss Jena 75-300 F4.5/5.6. But it's still would be useful to have access to the debug mode in the field without the need of a computer. P.S I'm running the latest firmware.

Hi Anvh,
RE. debug K5
Is your "we" the "royal we" ? I'm sure you're speaking on behalf of all Pentaxians! but maybe not those who are looking to access the debug mode via their SD card.

Hello,
There is much speculation as to how to access the debug mode in the K5 by storing a file in the SD card,many have sited the code .505 after modset,as in many Pentax DSLRs. But so far it's not been found!
Then I came across this number; 00077430 is this the debug code for the K5?
Maybe it's 00077430.505

Hi guys, RE. DEBUG K5.
OK I'm all new, with an interesting number for you all who are interested in debugging their K5! This is strictly for those who know (for the moment) about debugging and are familiar with the processes. I have no details just this number;
00077430.505 well here it is; for those who dabble in debugging, I hope someone will have luck with it.
If this is what we are looking for and you have success with it, post on this forum. Good luck we will see.
