Selling off some genuinely underused lenses because...well...FA Limiteds.
1. SOLD First up, an international version of the DA 35mm f/2.4 lens ordered from Singapore. These are available in like 20 colors, but most ebay sellers will ship you one for about $300. I got it for significantly less, so I'm selling it for significantly less.
It shows zero wear at all, since I used it maybe 5-6 times. Comes with original box, paperwork, caps, and I'll send the cheap metal lens hood along too.
Looking for $130 + shipping. SOLD
2. DA 40mm f/2.8 XS lens I got with my K-01 kit. It was used when I got it and I used it maybe 3-4 times.
It's in very good shape, showing only dust from sitting and the fingerprints all gear acquires. It comes with the super tiny front cap, rear push cap, paperwork, and brown box since it was from a kit.
Asking $130 + shipping.
I'm willing to send these internationally, and both may be able to go First Class. Paypal or cash (if local) accepted.

It will only accept the 26.5mm filters with .5mm thread pitch. Although the front looks like it's threaded, they are just straight lines for light diffusion.
Closing this thread because the lens is now sold :)

How many? The fewest I've had in years.
It's finally to the point where I'll pass on basically every good deal in order to get a quality lens I'll actually use. More space, lighter bag, no "if I only had a ______" regrets.
I wouldn't pass up a 15 or 21 Limited, and the FA* 300 could use an upgrade to the DA* version...hmm...

I still have my "chrome" MX film camera kicking around here, so they should look quite nice next to each other on the shelf :)
Next step in the crazy process is going to be importing a reasonably priced silver K-01...

Kinda related to the discussion, you don't buy a "Dodge Ram" or "Dodge Viper" these days. It's a Ram 1500 (whatever trim) or an SRT Viper. Still the same thing, made by the same people, so who cares what the "make" blank says?
Personally, I can't wait till the GR's price starts with a 4 instead of a 6. I'm a Pentax fanboy--MX-1 ordered at 2am this morning--but that camera will be on the block once the GR has a big price drop. I'm glad to see Ricoh's commitment to the Pentax name on certain products; in fact, those products which enhance the brand's name like the 645/K mount/Q/binoculars/etc.
Now give us a Pentax K-02

I liked the 17-70 on the K-01. Good balance, focuses quickly and quietly, f/4 is adequate with focus peaking enabled.

Gah, I was waffling back and forth since the $229 deal was posted...thought about upgrading my Nokia 920 to the 1020 and skipping a point and shoot but the 1020 just doesn't focus close enough. I had a Sony M1 tilty-swively camera a few years ago that also had a "super close" macro mode like the MX-1 and I used it all the time.
I shall wait for a $199 or $229 deal again, then I think I'm in for one.

Hello, insured international shipping for an item of this weight and value is between $50-60 for most countries. Expensive, for sure, but they haven't invented teleportation yet :)

The DA 35/2.4 is like $160 used, why not try it out?
It's not a whole lot away from the 40mm, so maybe you're looking for a 28 instead. The AF ones are "only" f/2.8 if you go for a Pentax. Sigma also makes a 28/1.8, 24/1.8, and 20/1.8 but they're massive compared to the primes you have (and they're Sigmas).

It truly is fun. I just don't grab it as often as I should. Carrying one battery type and one lens system is what I prefer at the moment. Unless I'm messing around in the yard, it makes shooting easier.
It's really a minisQule camera!

DC, WR, Quick Shift = instant buy.
Add in some CA correction = take my money right now.
Don't care about the aperture ring, so if it goes away in the HD versions, my super early ones should have a decent resale value :)

I will go contrary to most of the posts here and say get the DA (L) 35/2.4 for the moment then get the 31 when you can. Every decision comes down to money and if you've already got it set in your mind that the cost of the 31 is attainable, then why not? There can be only one.
If you love the feel of using the 43, the plasticy FA isn't as good. There is something to be said for aesthetics and feel in the hand, isn't that worth something?
For the people who recommend the FA 35 instead, why didn't you just get the optically identical and much cheaper DA 35/2.4? Hmm? ;)

It will focus down to .3m, so about 13". That is, 13" from the subject to the sensor/film plane. The lens will be about 8" away from the subject.

Zenitar-K 16mm f/2.8 fisheye lens in K mount Asking Price
135.00 USD Item Location
Madison, WI (United States) Item Description
Yet another item for sale, and still not done yet ;)
Purchased this lens on PF way back when I first joined. I haven't used it much lately with the 12-24 around. Plus, I've figured out I prefer straight lines :D
This lens is in "good" condition. It performs perfectly with regards to focus and aperture. The aperture ring is very "Russian"--stiff but clicky. It only gets a "good" rating because the paint has started to bubble (or something) years ago...again, Russian lenses. Glass is perfect, though.
It comes with the original box, both caps (both awful, in all honesty) and instructions, in addition to all 4 glass filters. I believe these came with a soft case from the factory, but it is missing.
Asking $135 + actual shipping. Are you the original owner of the item being sold?

I've received the MX-1 the other day and sold the 03 lens, so now it's time to split the package.
See description for pricing, and PM me for a shipping quote. PayPal accepted.
1. Q + 01 lens $185 + shipping. I will split the lens from the body, but keep in mind you're getting the Q for super cheap. I purchased this kit from Groupon when the Q firesale was going on last spring. It's the original version with the 8.5mm f/1.9 prime lens aka 01.
It works perfectly without issue. It's in pristine condition without any wear to speak of. PhotoMe gives a ridiculously low shutter count, but my last picture with it is IMGP0654 so 654 clicks sounds about right.
Comes with everything as new, only the battery and charger were ever opened.
2. SOLD Next up is the 03 fisheye, which is an f/5.6 3.2mm manual focus lens. Bought from a forum member here over the summer. Works great, in perfect shape. Box flap does have a small tear in it. Includes both caps, box, paperwork.SOLD
3. $15 + shipping. Fotodiox PK to Q adapter with aperture control. Really didn't like this adapter much, almost bought the genuine Pentax one. It works. Didn't lock a couple of my lenses, however. In great shape in box.
4. $15 + shipping. Wasabi battery kit with charger (OEM charger uses a cord, this one plugs right into the wall). Comes with two batteries, wall adapter, US plug, European continent plug, and car charger cord. |
