I'm guessing it was a bunch of eggs, where the critter went later i dread to think, especially if those eggs turn out like their mum :)

I took this using the std 18-55mm kit lens reversed with a reverse ring on my K-x in the back garden, I'm not sure if it's a huge egg ball underneath? but later the spider & white ball had vanished

Took this of a PC Dimm i have knocking about, the kids look at me gone out because i take macro shots of all sorts of stuff around the house

I think the dust adds a bit of effect to it, the wife wasn't impressed when i commented on her dusting skills ;)

Cheers, Den.

Thanks, he was wrapped around my wife's arm & bobbing about all over the place, so it was a case of spotting a clear focus & quickly clicking, i'm pleased with the result especially with it being done hand held.
I took a few with my dare i say it... fuji hs20exr also, but to be honest the quality isn't in the same league as the K-x.

Cheers, Den.

Been visiting the forum for quite a while, thought I'd post the photo i took last night of our eldest lad's cornsnake.
I had a Raynox DCR-250 attached to the tamron lens, which made taking a shot of a moving snake very tricky, i purely take photos as a hobby (mainly of birds) & have only just got into trying macro stuff (hoping to convince the wife that it's right for me to buy a proper macro lens soon haha)

Cheers, Den.

Thanks for the welcome :)

I grew up in Staffordshire & then moved to Derbyshire (well it's classed as derbyshire, but also leicestershire as we're on the border)

Cheers, Den.

Hi everyone,

I've been a member for a while, browsing the forums every day & thought it was time to say hello.
I use a Pentax K-x, which i love very much & at the moment i'm just starting to experiment with a bit of macro, using a raynox dcr-250 attached to a tamron 70-300mm lens (i am saving for a proper macro lens, but have to soften up the wife also)

Cheers, Den.
