I'll start of with "HDR = High Dynamic Range." . I have all the equipment and the time to do so for it.

Thx for the info. As my B&B is my business and 50% of my customer come by booking.com, I got me a the K5 to shoot almost (for now) exclusive interior shots. The price of the filter = the price of 2 nights stay for 2 people. (worth the costs)

So you are saying that I need a HDR instead of a CPL for interior?

My mistake. My lens is a 10-20 sigma, so no fisheye.
Could you tell me the brand and serie of the filter you are using? To have an idea.

He took several shots, from minimum to maximum and you could see that the walls next to the window became darker when the filters was as it minimum.
He also uses this on the beach to filter the sunlight he told me.

I'm willing to search on forums and catalogs, but there is too much information available and to little knowledge from me.

I need a filter to shoot interior window shots of bedrooms.

I had yesterday a photographer as guest in my B&B and he gave me tips about taking interieur pictures.
He had a Nikon D800 with a lens + "rotational filter" . He learned me the point about filters. Very interesting.

My question:
I have a K5 + sigma 10-20 4-5.6 lens.

Can I put a filter on that lens also?
what brand do I need.
I'm wiling to pay more to have it rotational instead of having to buy several filters.
I don't want special effects or so, just to isolate the "too much of" light that enters the room by the windows when I'm taking interieur shots.

I must be honest : I always found DSLR way to big, nothing for me. So I got me a canon g2 and later on a Panasonic Lx3 and last year a pentax wg-1 gps (for working purpose in the woods).

I was happy with the result but something was missing, it didn't feld like real work to get a picture. My last camera LX3 was perfect but I didn't like to take pictures with it, to small, to small buttons ... I don't know.

I got my k5 this week and I'm trilled. What a camera. You have to work with it to get a picture. And the sound it makes when I snaps. I just love it. The quality and dept is amazing (for me as amateur).

I was wrong all over. This is way more fun compared to a small camera. I really like the scrolling of the wheel instead of pushing a "to" small button a the back.

I didn't get the K5II , I know, but at 700€ I got me a real good camera kit (body and lens WR), period.

I can't wait to have me an old film lens on "second hand" to play around with.

The youtube movis of Mike Brown (Photography Courses, Workshops, 1:1 Tuition & Free Videos) really help me to get to know the camera and It possibilities.

Hi,

I'm thinking to buy me a K5 (as my first DSLR), as they reached my pricelevel.
I would like to know which (sorry I'm a beginner) lense(s) you would you suggest me when I would
use my camera to shoot interieur-pictures of my Bed&breakfast guestrooms.

I can have the package
Pentax K-5 + SMC-DA 18-55mm AL WR
for 700€

Would that be OK to start with or a waste of my money on that lens.

Greetings,

After a lot of read, I'm ready for registration.
Next to a lot of chocolate and beer, I also like the idea behind Pentax camera's and I'm waiting for the K-30 to come out and see
the reviews next to the K-5 which is very, very low in price.

I already have a wp-1 gps that I use daily while working outdoor. It' perfect for that.

Greetings from Belgium.
