Well that's great news. I had looked through the manual (but not in depth I must admit) and hadn't spotted that, thanks for the info!

Here's a suggestion for the first firmware upgrade for the KP:
Add an option (as was available on my K-5) to set the LCD display default to always OFF, so it only powers on when "INFO" or "PLAY" buttons are pressed.
I'm happy to use the viewfinder display to check my camera settings, by not powering the LCD every time I switch on or press the shutter button I'm sure the battery life would be much improved.

A view of Tryfan from the Glyders on a beautiful day in Snowdonia in April 2009.
Look closely at the (middle) peak and you'll see Adam and Eve, the two tall monolithic rocks at the summit that provide an extra challenge once you've climbed the mountain—climb up on top and jump between the two!
The image was taken as RAW DNG, processed through only through Lightroom:
Converted to B&W by setting all the colour saturation sliders to -100 then adjusting the relative colour-channel contrast with the luminance sliders. This allows you to mimic the old film method of applying a coloured filter over the lens when using black and white film, but with a great deal more flexibility! Thanks to Martin Evening for that great B&W Lightroom tip from way back when.

I bought my DA*55 a few months after I got my K20D, now I'm using it on my K-7. Unless I'm traveling very light with the DA40 or DA21 the DA*55 is almost always on the body, I use it for almost everything unless circumstances call for a wider perspective or macro is required. I've had no focussing issues and if I switch to AF-C and half-press the shutter I can pan around and the camera keeps up very well.
I bought this lens because of the *-designation, I wanted a(nother) high quality fast prime lens (LBA!) and all the other *-designated primes I own have produced very good images. I don't do much portrait work but the few I have done have turned out very well.
The best advantage as far as I'm concerned is that I can go hill-walking with the K-7 and the DA*55 and not worry about the rain - the 31, 43 and 77 can all stay safely at home on those trips !

I have the senor-shake enabled so it operates each time the camera is powered-on - it has made a huge difference compared to my *ist DS.
I think it's the combination of the regular shake at start-up with the special coating that helps keep the dust off the sensor.

Since I always shoot RAW (DNG) I don't really have any use for the dedicated RAW/JPEG button - it would be nice to make this user assigned in the custom setup menu.
For example, it could be set to bring up any of the options from the Fn button for example - so a quick push on RAW button and scroll ofrear-thumbwheel could change through the various shooting modes (Single Shot, Continuous, Self-Timer etc).
Just hope someone working on Firmware 1.2 is reading this :o

Just a quick note regarding the detachable lens hoods as supplied with the DA and DFA series lenses - you can fit them onto the lens backwards for easier storage.
