I have a Pentax k5 for the last 5 years. I decided to go professional and to buy a full frame. I have been looking at Nikon, Canon and Pentax K1 reviews. I don't mind to learn a new system. I really like Pentax and the feel of it and everything else. But I am also taking into account the weak points of my beloved Pentax and its new full frame generation. Thinks like the autofocus problem, the 4.4 fps, weak video camera (Although I rarely use mine) are making my decision difficult. I am planning to do weddings professionally and a bit of everything else like a documentary, street, portrait, macro photography....any advice, please???

1) I recently bougth the K5. It came with two lenses (SMC PENTAX DA 18-55MM F3.5-5.6 AL WR and SMC PENTAX DA 50-200MM F4-5.6 ED WR). I
have been reading reviews about these lenses and they aren't very good so I am planning to replace then.
2) Also, I am very keen on macro photography and I am planning to buy a macro lens as the lenses that came with my camera aren't ideal for macro
photography. My first choice is the smcP D-FA 50mm f2.8 Macro and my second choice is the smc Pentax DA 35mm f/2.8 Macro Limited. My
budget is to spend no more than £250. I found a website selling the smcP D-FA 50mm f2.8 Macro for £244.58. I tought perhaps I could find a 2nd
hand lens which are better than the smcP D-FA 50mm f2.8 and for similar price. Can anyone tell me whether the smcP D-FA 50mm f2.8 is a good
macro lens and where I can find 2nd hand lenses for Pentax.
3) To fulfil my ambitions as a photographer I need one day to day lens, one telephoto lens (to take shots of surf) and one macro lens Very tight
budget!!)

Hi guys. Thank you very much for your help. Since I posted this I have been playing with the camera and discovered many amazing things that this camera is capable of. I don't regret
buying this little piece instead of Nikon D7000 or replacing my D3100 as it was getting boring to use. However I think that the manual which comes with the camera isn't straight
forward. Actually it is a bit confusing. Does anyone Know where I can buy a guide book for the K-5. It can be paper-book or eBook

Hi guys!!! I just bought my Pentax K5 yesterday to replace my Nikon D3100. I have a lot to learn about this new camera but I will get there. I am trying to find out
how I can access the exposure modes (Picture modes: AutoPicture, Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Moving Object, Night scene portrait, Flash off
Scene modes: Night scene, Surf & Snow, Food, Sunset, Kids, Pet, Candlelight, Museum, Stagelight, Night snap). I rarely use these features but I would like to
know how I can access them, for example the Moving subject. Thanks to everyone!!!

Hi guys.
I just bought a Pentax K5 yesterday after selling my Nikon D3100. It feels a better camera than Nikon D7000 which I was planning to buy. I am just learning how to
use the camera and I am trying to find the exposure modes (AutoPicture, Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Moving Object, Night scene portrait, Flash off
Scene modes: Night scene, Surf & Snow, Food, Sunset, Kids, Pet, Candlelight, Museum, Stagelight, Night snap, Night scene HDR* )....I rarely use these settings
but I want to know how to access them. I am trying to buy a guide mode book for the camera which explain the camera features but I cannot find any....can anyone
tell me how to access for example the moving object mode.
