Hi people
I've just picked up a couple of p3n bodies, both of them seem to be working really nice but I have a question regarding the films I can or can't use.
As the ISO the camera uses is the DX coding from the film, the camera specs mention that only film up to 1600 asa can be used. ¿What happens if I want to use 3200 film? I know I can use a digital camera as a light meter, but is there anyway I can trick the p3n to make it work at 3200?
Also, I have a 50mm 1.7 lens that used to work really well, but after living overseas for a while now the aperture ring is really rough, I have to apply quite a bit of strength to make it change the aperture. Is there any way I can fix it? Oil or any other lubricant?
Thanks in advance

Hello again!
My name is Jordi, I am currently living in California. I wanted to go back to film photography for quite a while, and I got recently a k1000, with a 50mm 1.7 lens. Not only that,I got a second body on ebay plus a 200mm telephoto,a bag, a flash and a 50mm 2.0. I got this second pack for just 50 dollars, and it works as well! And since my wife is a fashion photographer, she's really getting into it too.
I have shot my first rolls recently, developing them at a local walgreens, as we are staying in a small town in central california and so far its our only choice. In a few weeks / months we will be moving to L.A, where I might try to learn how to develop my own C41 films. I have been posting the most interesting pictures on flickr 2012 - Pentax K1000 - a set on Flickr
I have removed the dust marks with photoshop, but I haven't altered the colours.
I have ordered more film rolls, both new and expired, including a pack of rolls that expired in 1995. I might be using some of them in my wife's shoots, I will keep you updated.
as for the question, I have a small problem: The aperture ring of my 50mm 1.7 is starting to move a bit roughly. I have to push it hard in order to move, and it worries that it might get stuck for good in the near future. Is here anything I can do to make it move smoothly?
