I was along side the Brokenhead River near Beausejour Manitoba and this eagle flew over top. I managed to get a few shots in flight but they were not as sharp as this shot after he/she landed in a tree.

Quite often when we get this hoar frost occurring in Winter it is very overcast. This day we had a blue sky which certainly makes this photo more interesting.

I was out with my daughters taking some shot of them riding in the snow when these big show flakes starter falling. It wasn't that cold that day so we were all having fun and this was my favorite shot from the day.

Thanks all for the greetings. I think Winnipeg is a great city which is why I have lived here for the last 35 years. 1. I think could be true but I haven't been in other cities lately to judge that. 2, Generally most people stop at red lights, but there is the occasional jerk who tries to rush through a long orange light so it is always good to keep alert.

The shadows interested me so I switched to the 35mm and used a vertical composition to accentuate the shadows.
