I am thinking if I am expecting too much from the camera's capabilities, is it photography or post-processing. I wish not to increase MPs, sensor sizes and software, just taking a pure shot with subject, light and fixed lens, even B&W

I feel that K-New price will be out of my budget. Actually I think that DSLRs are highly expensive, is it only true for my country or you can also buy 10 Redmi Note 8 for a price of K-1?

Thank you! I worked hard enough to own a SMC Takumar 50mm 1.4, SMC Takumar 85mm 1.8, SMC Pentax 28mm 3.5 and SMC 35mm 3.5. However, this doesn't make me a photographer :)[COLOR="Silver"]

Here is a photo taken with my İstDs with SMC Takumar 85mm 1.8. I really love my Ds and continue to keepit. It is also compatible with my Tamron 90mm adaptall macro lens and my Pentax old ring flash

My K-30 also got the sickness after many happy years. I get dark images only in the first few of serial photos. Will it be worst? Total darkness?

As it is not easy to fix it in my country, I will probably use the camera only with my old manual SMC and K lenses

Thank you for the explanation. However, I guess I won't try this, I'll rather prefer to use third party adapter for portraits and manual metering when I need to focus to infinity.

Manual mode metering of the green button doesn't work (all settings right) in my K30 +genuine pentax m42 adaptor+ SMC Tak 85mm 1.8. However, when I use a third party m42-PK adapter (no infinity focus, silver metal, not black) instead of genuine Pentax adapter, green button meters correctly. Does it mean that the cheap adapter has a better conductivity than the Pentax one?
