"The Wave", on the Arizona/Utah border. We got very lucky and got walk-up permits. The DA15 was perfect, and survived getting sandblasted by 50+mph winds.

Just a beginner, but I was pretty happy with how this shot in NE Wisconsin turned out with the 15 and an nd400 filter: |

Just got a new body after my old one was replaced under warranty because of a broken aperture control unit.
This is the fourth shot I took with the replaced body with my A-series 50mm F1.4: Jump | Flickr - Photo Sharing! |

Been a few days since I shot anything because I've mostly been working and running around selling stuff to make up for the money I spent on the DA15. Decided to force myself to try one of the shots that's been bouncing around in my head this last week. Beware the Neon Skull- by C Rankin, on Flickr
Thought about putting some retro style sunglasses on the skull but none fit right. At least it was fun playing around with some LEDs and color gels in my makeshift studio (aka living room). This is version 1.0. I have ideas for the next version. Hopefully they pan out.

Snagged myself one of those Russian vintage Helios lenses with the super swirly bokeh. I've had a for a day now and I'm still getting the hang of it but these were the shots I liked the most. Last shot was of some seafood soup (Dom Yum Goong) I made for dinner. Took that one with the FA43. I have been in the wilderness for 2 years now (photographically speaking) after the shutter on my K10D froze (after only 8000 actuations). Finally have a camera again after seeing a really good bargain (K01 with 40mm pancake) and took this photo yesterday. Loving being back into photography :D

After some thought, I'm starting to think that the K50 is a hoax in it's present form.
The camera looks too much like the DSLRs from the K10D/Kx days and is not too different from the existing K30 in terms of technical specifications.
If we are to believe what has officially come from Pentax over the last several years, the K50 as it appears, goes against Pentax saying they will make things only if they can fit a niche or are different.
So, I'm thinking this K50 is either a "bait and switch" and another camera will come, or Pentax is *seriously* squeezing the Hoya pipeline beyond relevancy.
If Pentax is still choking the Hoya chicken, then the Ricoh transition pains are much worse than anyone imagined.
Given the different niches of the K-01, Q, MX-1 and the DA560, I find it hard to believe that Pentax would market something so similar to the K30.

I really don't get it ... K-30 has a great distinctive design, it looks contemporary and this K-50 looks like a grandfather. Really sad.
