you need to close tot he action, would the 55-300 Hd DA WR or PLM be a better alternative ?

I've been shooting baseball (Grandson 13 yrs old) using 18-135 with much success, I'm looking at 55-300mm but can;t decide HD DA WR or PLM. I generally focus on the base where I think the action will be and shooting continuous mode K3 iso 3200 TV 1/3200. Any suggestions on which way to proceed?

Please give more thought to additional WR DA lenses like the 55-300.

Yes, def a need for WR on more lenses. Why buy 55-300 when it is not WR, not many options unless your going for the best glass$$$.

Thank you for the reply, oddly enough I turned the ring on my lense closest to the camera (18-135mm Pentax WR ) and it seemd to have stopped the flashing. It is possible I was overiding the auto settinds somehow? I have taken several shots and no fllashing.

Hello!
Just received my K-5, Formatted my Sandisk 16gb extreme card and inserted the charged battery. I took several test pics in the auto mode (green) and also did a very short movie clip, all seemed to be fine, then I noticed the panels started flashing and red auto focus points flashing in the veiwfinder. How does one correct or stop the flashing. Do I need to do a firnware update? Please advise, if you can. Thanks
