I am using regular Sigma, Hoya, Agfa MC UV lens filters.
But has anybody used new WR Sigma UV filters claimed to be "Water, Oil, and Static Repellent"?

This is a "universal" lens. Pro: wide zoom range. Cons: narrow max aperture . It needs a lot of light for indooor photography.

Speed ~ 1/160. Flash will not fire if it's shorter than this.
Actual speed is controlled from your flash which has manual levels setting.

Which Camera Body K-3 or K-50

Starting from k x all Pentax bodies are using same "technology" sensor (not in terms of megapixels). However using the primes or high quality zooms can change the total picture tremendously.

It's recommended to have the same flash so color temperature is identical.

Hi Pacopentax,

Thank you for the testing. Anyway the primary use of this lens is macro. For that the lens is excellent.

Probably because of high ISO (1600). Change ISO to 100. Exposure time will go up correspondingly (there is no need in 1/2000 since it's a static object). If you have tripod use it.

Bell & Howell Z680AF is P-TTL flash. You still can use this P-TTL function when the flash is attached to the camera (hot-shoe) or though P-TTL sync. cord. All exposure settings will be automatic which is very useful for e.i. weddings.
Cowboy studio setup will just trigger the flash (does not matter if flash is P-TTL or manual). All exposure settings will go through through "M" mode.

If you are already have P-TTL flash than wireless P-TTL radio triggers (Pentax compatible) is the way to go.
The CowboyStudio NPT-04 4 Channel Wireless Hot Shoe Flash Trigger Receiver I am using in conjunction with TT560 Flash. It's cheap and working 100%. But it does not have P-TTL capabilities.

Thank you for quick response! But the picture from Macro lens is not even near as good as from kit Pentax 18-55 or 55-300 at longer focusing distances. So certainly it cannot be used as regular prime 50 mm for shooting everything.
