Those are pretty cool, I put up a feeder on my deck and never saw anything . I prefer the straightened stump to be honest. The liquid level doesn't grab the eye as much as the tilted stump.

I agree that a zoom and a prime is not even a fair comparison. But then the seller's description of "incredibly sharp wide open" is not matching with what I am seeing. Again, using live view should eliminate any focus calibration issues with the camera body. My angst is that in-spite of the claims that the seller made (and now refuses to back up), this particular lens cannot even match a consumer zoom lens at matching apertures, let alone a prime.

Thank you. Yes, makes for a nice walk around combination. I have used the 18-135 as well and I think for the common range, the 28-105 is better.

I have been lurking on the forum for ages now, I thought this would be a good time to start participating a bit more. A little orange flower that I noticed growing at the base of a street lamp, it caught my attention for it's beautiful colors in an otherwise green surrounding.

Here is another one with the FA 28, which I recently acquired. I really like the rendering of old FA glass and this lens on the KP makes for a very nice walkaround kit. SOOC Jpeg, cropped:
