Greetings all from San Leandro, CA USA.
My first full time 35mm camera was a Spotmatic in the early 70s. And I still have it in the garage!
Switched to Canon around 1980 and stayed with them through AE-1, A-1 and XTi. That is until my entire bag was stolen a few months ago and now I can buy anything I want ... or rather, any brand I want (or else I might be posting in a Leica forum!!!). After mucho research, I'm coming full circle and I'm 95% sure I'll be the proud owner of a K-5 in a few weeks. Seems like it's time to break away from the Canon / Nikon cabal.
Can't wait to get it in my hands!
