Hi, I'm having trouble with my K-7 .. I have used it A LOT!!! for the past two years ....and now am finding that suddenly the camera will shut off .. even wiith an almost fully charged battery ... esp. has trouble focussing on small distant objects .... as in shooting while riding in a car ... sometimes i can hear a motor whirring inside ... if I quickly turn off the camera and take out the battery and put it in again and use manual focus, I can avoid the complete death of the battery.
I am living in Kazakstan and have used the camera almost daily for 2 years ... so may the motor is just tired .. or the batteries will no longer hold the charge .. no Pentax dealer here .... any suggestions???
