Thanks for the advise, the big hold back here is money spent on what is needed. With that said a used K 7 or K-01 would be in my range. There are adapters on ebay and if you do a search on this site there is a picture of a DSLR adapter.

I want a Camera that will give live feed when plugged into HDMI so I do not have to record and play back. The rest is butter. I`m a novice to say the least. Taking pictures is easy and I get lucky sometimes as I`ve learned in life to sometimes just stop and enjoy the moment so this is when I get lucky. But learning the finer details can get overwhelming when it`s not thing hobby your best at so nothing to fancy for me, if pentax made a high quality point and shoot with HDMI live feed video that had a microscope adapter maybe I would go that route.

Kiss is my motto ( keep it simple stupid )

I hope I can find a pentax for my needs.

Cheers :]

Hello, I have a few questions about Pentax and there use with a microscope.

I have found most people are using the Canon T1i due to it`s live feed option and I guess price range... But I have been researching off and on and know Pentax is the best bang for my dollar in the long run :/

I`m thinking of getting a K7 but could use some help as I`m not sure if it will be the best option for use with my Scope, I have ordered a Amscope T409B and will be using Darkfield and bright.

I almost bought the K5 last year, but it`s just to priced out of my range for the green, amature I am...

Is the K7 going to be the top choice, I would like to have hdmi live feed so I think the K7 is the one?

Has anyone ever heard of any problems with the Pentax microscope adapters focusing?

Thank you for your time, you will be saving my countless hours of researching :)

I have researched microscope cameras but it seems for the money spent a DSLR is the only way to go :/

Cheers, or eat some healthy food if that`s your thing :]

Very nice, I still like the cloudy one this one is very detailed but a little loud so if you made it the centre point of a large panorama that would be a sweet combo and very pleasing to the brain eye combo.

I`m so green it`s not even funny so all in fun, but if you ever do set it up that way please send a pic:)

Another nice pic, but it only keeps my attention for a short short time. Maybe just personal pref but black & white don`t usually keep me tuned in for longer than a few seconds.

Still think the skyline is money...

I just looked in your Gallery and the Toronto sky line shot is amazing!!! Did you photoshop that or are you just that lucky to be in the right place at the right time.

I have some roof top shots from when I lived in TO but they were taken with my old 35mm Olympus so no jep yet, I killed my printer scanner last month after it decided to srew me over for the last time. I hate HP printers it was the second and last HP printer I`ll buy.

Really nice shots.
Next time you should also consider taking pictures of the smoke left behind from a series of explosions. I had no idea this was going on untill a friend showed me a fews back we went to a high point in vancouver and watched the show and sure enough I saw things like teddy bears, Dragons and not only just images but they somtimes blended them tell a story. Way more to it that just the sparks flying.

Not sure if you can see these standing under the show but I bet if the light was right you could...

Hi all, I`m new to the Pentax world except for my binos...

I`m so new in that I`m still on the lookout for a K5 and hoping to come accross a used one in my area of Vancouver but not holding my breath for to long.

Also looking for a 300mm prime to help get me started.

My 1st and only quality camera was a Olympus OM 77 but that is long gone and I want to get back into photography. I have always been the point, set up the shot for how ever long it takes kind of snaper and have no real experience with the technical side of F stops and shutter speeds, I understand just not clearly yet. Just getting interested again and I have a thirst for this so that`s why I willing to spend a little more that a few hundred.

I could use some help finding were I can read well thought out & explained reviews of 500mm prime lens. not sure if I will be going this big but getting to know the price range of a higher quality lens in this range will decided that for now anyway...

Thanks for reading & thank you in advance for your help and donating your time to pass on your years of experience :)
