Hi, if you can by satisfied with FOV 46°, good option can be A28/2,8... cheap, sharp, well against direct light... very good landscape-start lens... i am using it for years... love it... i gonna to buy FA version, because of action... highly recommanded :) if you will go wider aven more, buy DA15- my dream... look at starburst and you will understand :)

thank you, guys, my problem is, that i now have A28/2,8 and ii is great, but not wide enought. my first choice was sigma 10-20, but it is too big and then i am looking for da15... (for size and extremly good performance in direct light--- stars.. oh...). few days ago i saw this fish eye for circa 250$ and i was thinking, that if i can perfectly correct fish-eye barrel effect, that will by great for me... i dont know, what do you think? guys?? :))

A 50mm/f1.4 vs M 50mm/f1.4?

imho all 50s are same optics K, M, A, F, FA... only diferent case and diff SMC...
if you want use only MF and have good handling, A version is good choice... solid build. yes, if you will save money, buy A50/1,7 it is good too... but 50/2 is bad choice, soft, soft, soft... @F2 very soft.... but A50/1,4 is awesome... see my photo @F2 Snímek z alba Trojice - bricamry.cz :))

for video... i used A28/2,8 and wide open is awesome for that purpose :)) yes that lens have spherical DOF, but for video it not matter... it have nice bokeh and sharpnes is comfortable :) (this crap

You Tube

is made with that lens, but stopped down for better DOF :))

i hope, that my post helps

K-5 or K-5 II?

Hello...
my choice will be K-5 IIs! because that version haven't low-pass filter- yes, you can have moaré issue, but quality of photos will be more acurate. with 50/1,4 it must have perfect result :))

...next: some upgrades... later version will be better choice :)
