Costco just published an ad (online only) that runs July 30th to August 19th with a special on the K-30. For $899 (delivered) you pick your color (just the black, blue and white) and comes with the 18-55mm lens, 8GB SD card, case plus it comes with Pentax WG-1 waterproof point and shoot camera. Sounds like a pretty decent deal, but after reading and checking out the Pentax Singapore website, I cant get a direct price comparison because the WG-1 has been replaced (still on the US for $229) by the WG-2.
I've played with some friends DSLR's, but I dont have a whole lot of experience with them (point and shoot guy here, but looking to change that). So I'm hoping the K-30 could be a good entry into the DSLR world.
Mostly I wanted to point out the ad and see what you guys thought.

Hello from Washington state! In the past I've been a point and shoot type of guy and I'm just looking to getting into the DSLR game. I have friends with Nikon's and Cannon's and actually came across the Pentax K-30 in a Costco ad. Started researching and ended up here.
