I just wish they'd add a split prism in there. I love using the old primes, but the regular focusing screen sucks for precise manual focusing. :(

I do own a golla messenger bag. It was cheap, very straight forward, fits all you need plus a tablet, it has pockets for cloths, sd cards, bla bla bla. The interior is removable and the outer top flap is rubberized/water resistant.
I'm not sure they still make that specific one, but they do have some stuff on their site.

yeah, pretty much. But I've already gotten some pretty nice deals because of marks (big and small) that wouldn't affect function in any way. I think I care much more about those in lenses than in bodies. :)

This photo was taken during a Skott Kelby's photo walk in Antwerp, Belgium. The day was boring and rainy, and we ended up crossing the river to the left bank (Linkeroever) to see if we could find something interesting looking back towards Antwerp.
Everyone was half concerned about keeping their cameras and lenses dry, and I decided to throw in the kit lens (had tested it before and it has survived more than a few water drops), and we couldn't find any interesting subjects. When I was almost giving up and putting the camera down, I saw this (possibly) father and daughter appreciating the rainy view of the city, while a few boats sailed by. I shot 2 or 3 photos and didn't pay much attention to it, until I checked the photos on a big screen and found this hidden gem.

Just as a second (or 3rd, 4th, etc) testimonial for that LCD cover from ebay: Just received it to use as a protection... fits perfectly, seems sturdy, etc.

I see the point, and it probably hits the spot for lots of people. But I still find it too pricey for what it is. I may change my mind once I shoot with it :p but not so far.

$999 for a 30 to 60mm equivalent (???) without constant aperture? I'd rather go for the 16-50 2.8 for a bit more, which I already find way too overpriced. :(
