I know it is a waste of time to mention but here are my suggestions for the Mark III:
- in the menu for multiple exposures the ability to change focus between each picture, to do focus stacking; and I know that there are some weardo’s that have already implemented this in an app;
- as a bird photographer I would appreciate a quicker start of the K1 from standby, and a better focusing system, but dreaming of a focusing system like Canon has, which is following the eye of the photographer to focus on the subject he is looking at, would not be possible in the pricing of a K1;
- more pictures per second, with accurate focusing on the moving objects;
- possibility to generate the name of the pictures like YYYYMMDD_sequencenr; or at least the name of the map like YYYYMMDD.
But nevertheless a K1 is a great picturemaker!

On other brands there is an option ’Dark’, on a Pentax K1 we only have 3 options: average, additive and bright’.
It would be nice to have that 4th option ‘Dark’ too by selecting multiple exposure.
I’ve been trying to get the same result, but I didn’t find the solution.
Anyone can help me?

It seems that there are people who made an app with the Pentax K1 developer kit, in that app they can do focus bracketing and/of stacking with the Pentax K1. So the hardware should be capable of doing this, pitty that Pentax doesn't do the effort to implement this in their software of the K1 and MII.

After the latest repair of my Pentax K-01 repair, the ON/OFF switch, when switched to ON, gives bad contact and the camera falls off. In the beginning I could still take one or two pictures, but now you have to push continually on the switch otherwise the camera stops working.
Is there a way to repair this by myself?

Featuring Lucien Clergue, 'Née de la vague', we made some pictures at the (nudist) beach of Bredene (Belgium). The temperature in and out of the water was 15°. Bravo for the models SARA and IVANA to stand up for this for 1,5h!

Does anyone know where I could get spare parts for the SMC Pentax DA* 1:2.8 16-50mm ED AL (IF) , in casu the rubber seal rings?
One of them is broken by dismantling the lens.
