Because it cost almost twice as much as K3-II in Sweden given the current prices... And even if K3-II gets discontinued that won't make KP a superior camera.

But, the problem is that the rumored price here seems to be €1,130, while we can buy the K-3 II, from respectable retailers, for around €750...

I agree with RyanW, the grip is to "deep" and to narrow. I have a ist DL which I love, and the K-5 is much closer to that grip than K-30.
I should also add that I have quite big hands.

It could be cheaper. A 1000 bucks is still alot of money for most of us.

Is it really the goal of every commercial photographer to be perceived as greedy..?
The B&G are paying you to take photographs of their wedding, so I dearly hope that you don't charge the rest of the guests for digital pictures (portraits) of them, and thereby withholding the pictures from the wedded couple.
