Hello from the townships! my father recently allowed me to explore his Pentax Asahi KX, which by the way came with the -
SMC Pentax 1: 1.4/ 50mm and
Kalimar macro lens 1: 3.5/ 28-85mm
and, a Rokinon Polarizer ( which seems to be attached... cuz im unable to twist it off the rest of the lens!)
im used to working with a digital camera where all the work is almost done for me, and really wanted to get a feel for and understand film /mechanic photography.
I would love some pointers on how to get the most from my lenses especially my macro lens (( which already is a favourite!)).
also, is there a way to lock the lens so that it doesnt loose focus and set exposure?
what type of tripod should i get for this type of camera... would a modern version fit??
