The cropping is a little strange, but I felt it emphasized the flowers a bit more.

Taken with a Asahi Pentax S3 and Auto-Takumar 55mm 1.8 on LOMO800 film.

Developed at London Drugs. Home-Scanned with Pakon F135+

I got this in my 1st roll with the S3 before the mirror got permanently stuck in the raised position. Still trying to self-fix it :(

Edit: And another

I must confess, this wasn't taken with the K-1 (because that would mean I would have to buy x2 K-1's) but she's definitely a beauty :D

K-1 along with the Silver FA 77mm 1.8 and the Black FA 43mm 1.9

Went to the Armin Van Buuren Intense Tour in Vancouver last night. Took my GR since it could fit in my pocket and I could snap shots in between the fist pumping and jumping.

Amazing concert if you're into that kind of music.

Anybody here get a chance to watch it? I'm not usually a big fan of Ben Stiller directed movies but this one was great. It had the right amount of humor, artistic creativity and showcased really wonderful cinematography.

Most importantly though, a big part of the movie centered around photojournalism and it just reminded me of what the potential of being a photographer could be.

Not to spoil anything but I especially loved the mystique and sense of adventure that surrounded the photographer he was trying to find. Makes me wish I could just travel the world and capture its splendor.

Here's a trailer for those who haven't heard of it.

For those who have, what did you guys think?

Nice shot! I'm actually quite impressed with the IQ. Given the price right now it's definitely a steal. I already have the GR but I also have 4 other cameras as well. Why not make it 6?

I hope I can post multiple photos in one thread. I also hope that a Ricoh GR counts as a Pentax camera since Ricoh purchased Pentax.

Anyway, these were taken on a holiday to Hua Hin, Thailand last October. I must say, the little GR is simply amazing. I think more so than the X100S.

I do some. Depending on the content and colors in play I like to up the contrast. The majority of the 'flavor' comes from the built-in cross processing filter. It gives very subtle blueish tint to everything. Gives it a dreamy look.
