Thank you all very much for your replies. I left the camera without battery for 8 hours and the problem still exists. Also I tried multiple lenses and I saw the aperture and it seemed to be ok. Small enough and big enough when it should...
The problem disappears when I shoot through live view or when I use the flash. So I guess there is some problem with the light sensor?
The next thing to do is to go to some service center.

Hello dear forum.
My camera fell of my hands :( and now it has the following problem:
I need to keep the exposure -2 in order to take an almost normal photo. Otherwise the photo is overexposed, but...
if I turn on my flash (on camera flash) then everything goes back to normal (I must put the ev to 0 otherwise my photo is underexposed). :hmm:
Does anyone has any clue on what that might be and what to do in that case?
Should I try and open my camera?

Exactly what you are saying happened to me with 1.03 update and like you I let the camera turned on for about 3 hours and then battery went off. After that I turned on my K-30 and everything was ok but the update was not applied.
Then I formated the sd card from my PC and not from in camera format menu, I tried again and it was a success.
Maybe the K-30 users must be cautious with this problem and always format the sd card from PC before they update.

I have not tested all lenses you mentioned but I can speak of the Tamron 17-50...
I use it 99% of time. Colours are fantastic and concerning sharpness, when aperture is set on 5.6 you can easily crop 100% and even more.
It is a brilliant lens in a fantastic price.
I really love it...

I have bought the photosniper kit and the 300mm lens was my first lens after I acquired my K30.
Does anybody knows the reason that diafragm operates the way it does?
I mean when it is wide open and I put it in f8 then it stays wide open until i take the shot.
Does it make any sort of 3d effect in the image?
I really liked the results of this lens and I want to use this feature if it really gives something to the image.

My Battery just went out.
And after I switched my camera on it seemed to work just fine.
My current firmware version is 1.01.
I will just download the file again from pentax site and do the procedure once more.
I hope it will work.

Hello to all!!!
First of all I want to thank all pentaxians for the information held in this forum.
For a noob like me it is very helpfull..
My problem is this: I have a K-30 and at this very moment I am installing the new firmware 1.02. For the last 2 hours I have the "NOW LOADING" message on my screen!!!!!
Is it normal that updating takes so much time?
I read that if a problem occurs during updating, my K-30 will not work at all.
Please someone assures me that everything is OK
