The Big Pentax Sell-off!
Hi folks, after an awesome journey with Pentax, I have decided part ways. Mainly because I can no longer afford photography as a hobby. :(
I am selling all my gear. All items have been in active use, hence guaranteed to work as they should. I take care of my equipment...in most cases, if there are any small blemishes, they were there from when I bought them (a lot of it was bought here on the forum and on eBay). I may only have one reference here on the forum, but I have been selling on eBay for years and have 184 only-positive reviews. 1) Pentax K-5 - $549 + $12 shipping - Sold!
Excellent condition, light signs of use, around 7000 actuations. Bought new from a reputed internet retailer.
2) Sigma 17-50 F/2.8 - $479 + $12 shipping - Sold!
Mint condition, was basically unused since I got the DA* 16-50. Very sharp, quick focus. But not a Pentax...and hence the steep discount. Bought new from a reputed internet retailer.
3) Pentax DA* 16-50 F/2.8 - $649 + $12 shipping - Sold!
Excellent condition. Bought used from eBay... awesome, awesome lens. Very sharp, and the build quality is like a jewel. The micro-contrast is the main difference between this and the aforementioned Sigma. The SDM works fine.
4) Pentax DA* 50-135 F/2.8 - $689 + $15 shipping - Sold!
My absolute favorite lens. If I was another lens, I would marry this lens. This is where all that Pentax magic comes alive... great condition. Bought it used on this forum from Pentaxian Kate... she had the SDM motor replaced last August. It now works perfectly...the focus is sharp, quick and perfect.
5) Pentax DA* 60-250 F/4 - $999 + $15 shipping - Sold!
My most expensive lens, and how. I haven't seen a super-telephoto that is so sharp, yet comparatively compact. I shoot a lot with it, and if you see my 500px site...all those birds are from this baby. Very impressive lens. Bought open box on eBay.
6) Pentax DA 50 F/1.8 - $189 + $10 shipping - Sold!
This lens was a surprise... very sharp, sharper than even the legendary FA 50 1.4. Bought new from BHPhotoVideo... Mint condition.
7) Pentax FA 50 F/1.4 - $219 + $10 shipping - SOLD!
The legendary lens; the color, rendition, contrast...all perfect. One of my favorite lenses. Bought it during a similar "sell-off" on eBay. This lens is in excellent condition.
8) Tamron 90 F/2.8 Macro - $319 + $12 shipping - Sold!
Amazing value from an amazing lens. I actually bought a Pentax 100 F/2.8 WR to replace this, and ended up returning that! Bought off Amazon Warehouse Deals.
9) Lensbaby Muse for Pentax-K - $59 + $10 shipping - Sold!
Bought it used on eBay... works great and sharp if you know how to use it. Good to play around with.
10) Pentax AF-360FGZ - $139 + $10 shipping - Sold!
Bought it used on eBay... works great, full P-TTL support. No original packaging.
11) Sigma EF-500 DG for P-TTL - $69. - SOLD!
My go-to flash... very underrated... this is as pro as you get. Selling it for a low price, because I bought it at a low price! Comes with carry case.
12) Pentax PZ-10 + Pentax 28 - 80 lens. - $29 + $12
Great auto-focusing film camera. Fueled my "full-frame" cravings... :) Works great.

Hi Folks,
Recently jumped ship from Canon to Pentax. Basically fell in love with the K-5... and realized that I can have a decent kit which would cost me twice as much in a Canikon setup.
Haven't clicked much using my K-5... but will post 'em as I do!
