A combine in a neighboring field was generating a huge dust cloud (we live in the prairies). Combined with the setting sun and orange hues, I saw this image as something worth capturing.

The angle and the pattern of rusting boltheads on this old train in our local train museum had me thinking of a descending group of armadillos. I'm big into textures, to the iron oxide decomposing of this metal was interesting to me.
The 50mm Macor Lens is my favorite from my gear, and of course, I won two K-3's each mounted with a different lens during shooting. Whether I win or not, I'm proud of this image.

This was an off the shoulder shot while I was photographing a friends cat that was going to be put to sleep. The eye textures were amazing.

Ok, I'm excited about the 200K shutter life
The other features are definitely good.
Where is the Full Frame Sensor version? - This just reminds me of a better Sony A-77 which has already practically come and gone.

I used to live in the United States so I miss all the awesome availability I had to great gear.
I'm currently looking for Rokinon's 85mm 1.4 and 35mm 1.4 lenses (with the focus confirm). Apparently not all lenses have it. So far, all I can find is the non confirmation models.
Can anyone recommend a source in Canada for these lenses ? I bought one for my Nikon and love it.. Need to beef up my K5 and K20d with something more than just the 50mm 1.8 and the 16-45 F4

It was Pop Photo's review that convinced me to get the K30 over a second K5. I'm also going to grab the WR 18-135 lens and a few other Pentax Primes.
To be honest, years back, I had trouble finding decent lenses, so I abandoned Pentax, but hung onto my K-1000 and my original ist*D ..
After shooting with the K5, and the K-01, I'm officially in love with Pentax again.
