Last Sunday the weather was beautiful for a hike in the local mountains.
Pentax 67 55/4 Acros 100 in Pyrocat HD 1+1+100
I think that Acros calls for an orange filter. Yellow filter is not enough in that kind of range. It was OK on these shots but for many others the range (the way Acros lighten blue in the sky) was too much.
Cheers,
Luc

A few more from the week-end at the beach...
Hasselblad 500CM Sonnar CF 150/3.5 TMY-2 Tmax Developer 1+9
Hasselblad 500CM Distagon CF 50/4 FLE TMY-2 Tmax Developer 1+9
Hasselblad 500CM Distagon CF 50/4 FLE TMY-2 Tmax Developer 1+9
I put a 12 pictures portfolio of this sepcific area taken over a few shoots. I find the area very interesting as it has a mix of industrial, beach, river...
If any of you guys has the patience to have a look and give me their opinion? Luc Bénac | Iona Beach Luc Bénac | Iona Beach

Yesterday I did not take the LF kit as I was expecting the light to be not very interesting, when I went to walk one of our "dog allowed" beach. Instead I took the Hassy with 50 FLE and 150.
I ended-up be totally wrong, walking 12 km and running through 3 rolls :)

Thanks.
Will do but it would probably be almost a year from now. There is snow there until June/July and this is NOT a ridge you want to be on when there is snow.

Some more:
This one for the memory. My friend John and my dog at the "end of the road" and the beginning of the trail - well at least where it would be if not for the left over from logging...
And another pano from higher-up on the ridge.
We have a date with this trail to finish-up next year when days are longer.
Cheers,
Luc

Something totally different. On Sunday I went hiking with a friend a little bit outside of the usual trails. It takes about 20 miles of 4x4 on decommissioned logging roads to the start of this barely marked trail plus some scrambling on clear cuts left over logs and overgrown berry bushes (best place to meet a bear - black or grizzly judging by the scats). But boy is it worth it.
I took the Hasselblad with Distagon 60mm (hell of a lens BTW) a couple of rolls of TMY-2 on a light bag (good thinking based on the amount of scrambling...).
I started scanning the results.
A pano of three shots handheld.
Cheers,
Luc
