I'll be in Portland, Oregon for the day tomorrow! Just wondering if anyone knows of any great photo ops? I'll be on foot, (mostly downtown) but thinking of getting a transit daypass to cover more miles. I'm interested in street photography and landscapes, but I don't know where the best spots are. I'll be taking my Pentax k1000 with me. :)

Hello, just trying to find out how hard it is to replace the focusing screen on a k1000. I can't seem to find any straightforward information anywhere. The focusing screen looks ghastly through the viewfinder, and I thought it would be a relatively simple fix. :(
Another issue I'm having - the narrow foam strip inside is past-expired and I need to find out what it takes to replace that too. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone. I was first introduced to film in high school, where we used Pentax k1000's and b&w film. After leaving school, I moved on to digital, but have since decided that film just can't be replaced. I love it! I finally just got myself a Pentax k1000 and I can't wait to start shooting with it again.
