Weeks ive been studying under 1000 Digi SLRs, and I thought the Pentax k10D was going to be it.
But for 200.00 bucks less i can get the
Olympus Evolt e510 with two lenses.
Now being my first SLR and having knowledge of basic manual Camera functions. Should i spend the extra 200 for the Pentax?

Thank you for that info! I went around looking for some sample pics of this lens and...SMCP-DA 12-24/4 sample shots
Simply amazing, but the price is a little out of my range at the current time.
Any other suggestions around the 2-300 dollar range?

Aye i can't wait! Landscapes and outdoor photos are my thing. But Being that im moving away from fixed lens, i worry on which lens to get for landscapes and such.
I hear anything below 40mm is good for wide landscape shots correct?

Hello everyone! My Name is Justin soon to be owner of a Pentax camera(k10D)! Ive been into photography for awhile now and been spying at the new SLR digicams for sometime( using a Samsung s85 8.2 MP atm) and can't wait for the big change!:D
