In France, with good level of light pollution (because: 50km south from Paris)
But Lightroom helped me to clear them from this pollution ;)

Perhaps you've got a bad copy again. If you got star trails with 105 or 70mm lens and short exposure time (30s) most of the time (let say >75%) you should return the GPS unit to Pentax. But don't hesitate to perform again the precise calibration if your results are bad. Sometimes the calibration have failed even if the camera say it's ok.
However, using a zoom lens is a very bad idea since focal length information may be not reliable enough for a precise tracking.
Nevertheless, most of us using this GPS are quite satisfied with it.

Hi,
Please remove the images #37151 to #37154. There are the same as #37150. After posting the image for the first time I've got a error from your server. So I tried to repost 4 times and I've got 4 times the same error. But actually the photos were posted ! I'm sorry...

A famous location in France: the "Massif des Calanques" just next to the city of Marseille. (see also: Calanque - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

At the far end of the above calanque there is a famous rock, well known by rock climbers: the "doigt de Dieu" (literally "God's finger") because of its appearance:
