A few shots from Tuesday. The light was not very good because it was an overcast day. I had to use fairly high ISO most of the time. All shots are handheld. Most of them are cropped to some extent.

150mm, F/8, 1/400s, ISO100 (the amount of detail in the forest below the tower is amazing in the original file)

450mm, F/8, 1/1000s, ISO500

450mm, F/6.3, 1/800s, ISO 2000

150mm, F/6.3, 1/250, ISO 400

This one is with the 1.4x TC (handheld)
630mm, F/10, 1/1000s, ISO 640

450mm, F/6.3, 1/1000s, ISO 800

290mm, F/6.3, 1/800s, ISO 800

380mm, F/6.3, 1/800s, ISO 5000

450mm, F/6.3, 1/800s, ISO 5000

450mm, F/6.3, 1/400s, ISO 2000

PF Pentax Interview 2021 - Question suggestions

1. Now that the DA560 is discontinued, what are Ricohs plans for the super telephoto segment? Lens(es), teleconverters...?
2. What are Ricohs plans for the Pentax flash system? A compact flash with master/controller capabilities is really missing, now that the top DSLR models have no in-built flash any more.

Problematic customer service from Precision Camera

It seems to me, that your problem is not really with Pentax/Ricoh in general, but with Precision Camera.
I own five Pentax binoculars and I'm pretty happy with them. A few years back my 9x28 bino broke (was not able to focus correctly). I sent it in and got a replacement right away. I was very pleased with their customer service. Admittedly i live in Europe. Maybe things are different over here...

A few years back, Ricoh stated (in an PF-interview?) that they want to be number one regarding autofocus. Is Ricoh still aiming for that goal? How are you going to achieve it?

I haven't used my MZ-S in years, but I never had any problems with it. It still is one of my all time favourite cameras. Just a joy to use.

The attachment system used on the MZ-S comes to mind...
at least, that's what I hope for.

Sigma 100-300 autofocus problem

There are two batches of the 100-300 Sigma. At least some lenses of the older batch are known to have a "focus jump" at f6.3. It means that the lens will show severe backfocus from f4-f5.6. From f6.3 onwards the lens will focus correctly. They fixed that issue in the newer batch of lenses. You can distinguish the two batches by the look of the rubber on the focus- and zoomrings.

Beeing a Q user for quite some time now, I thought I'll try to upload a picture here. It was taken with the 01 lens in southwest Germany, F/2.5, 1/80 sec, ISO 125.

Pros and cons of EVF and OVF

You keep repeating this, but I really don't know, why you would think that. Obviously it must be your personal feeling, which you try to sell as kind of a "common truth". Because when I look through the OVF of my MZ-S I can't see any blurring, but I see a very clear and bright image of what's in front of my lens. It is not very diffrent from "the real image" - in fact it's closer to the real deal, than every image of every EVF I looked through yet. And if I expose correctly, the output image will also be as close as possible to that picture in my OVF / the scene in front of my lens.
