Thanks for the replies so far guys!
This mainly concerns using a CPL filter on my lens, as I previously mentioned. So, assuming from the comments you guys would recommend me to either shoot
without a lens hood when using the CPL filter, to take it off every time you want to adjust the filter or to reach into the hood to adjust the filter, am I correct in thinking these are my options?
If I stop by my local camera store and try the PH-RBD hood on the lens and it does actually fit, would you still discourage me to use it on my 50mm 2.8 macro?
Thanks :)

Apparantly my thread got posted as both complete and incomplete. I, however, have no idea how to delete this thread.. Always great being 'the new guy' somewhere :)

Hi guys,
I recently bought a Pentax 50mm 2.8 Macro lens and it came withe the standard PH-RBC lens hood. This however, does not have the little slot through which you can adjust your CPL filter. I'd rather not put my hands in the hood to adjust the CPL filter, so I searched around a bit.
My eye fell on the PH-RBD lens hood, used on the 50-200mm WR, which does seem to have the slot. Can anyone confirm it does have one? Both the PH-RBC and PH-RBD are 49mm, so I assume they'd both fit my 50mm 2.8 macro?
Thanks in advance! :)
