Just do your edits, save them and there you go. :) Just save them at highest quality when you save as jpeg or whatever you send them for print in.

I purchased my K-5II through DavisMax on Amazon. I asked and they told me up front that this was an off market camera, but supplied a year warranty on their own. I had a single dead pixel on my screen and they offered to exchange it at no cost to myself.
I also called Pentax and gave them the Serial # on the camera, asked if it would be covered under USA warranty even though it was an out of market camera and she said they cover the items with no issues as long as there has not been abuse.
Either way I have had a positive experience with the Amazon foreign resellers and would buy again.

I have an Epson 9700 wide format printer. I guess this is out of most peoples needs but I found it for less than $1000 on CL and it works perfectly. I was at the point of selling enough prints it made more economical sense to just buy a machine.

Long story short, all my gear was stolen. Have insurance money and need to get new gear. If someone wants to dump a K-3 they bought and make some cash since the k-5iis is down to $700 Get at me.
If you have a K-3 or these lenses please let me know.

Attaching a couple samples. No idea how much they get downsampled on the site. :)

What a greatly detailed analysis. Thanks for the link. I agree with your line of thinking. I am just going to go with the II and get over the ego hit of not having the S on the front.

I have a 5d mkii I can use as a backup. I happen to have chosen Pentax over Canon for my main camera. I bought the K-5 originally to make sure I liked the Pentax brand before paying more for the newer version. I will eventually get a backup Pentax, but at this time it isn't needed. The 5d2 doesn't leave my studio.

i am selling my K-5 to get the II or IIs. I have struggled the past few days deciding which to get. I mainly shoot fashion and then landscape on the side. my concern with the IIs is int he fashion part with fabrics. I have looked through the sample images and read plenty of threads but I guess I just want some advice.
How bad does the Moire get in fabrics? If your main focus of shooting was fashion, would you still get a IIs if you own one now? Thanks for any and all replies.

Phototheology posted a video showing image comparisons with a very long explanation of some things not too long ago. I thought the d7100 would out perform the Pentax with the new 24mp sensor and AF system they are using. If you have 35 minutes, check out the video. I did a short search and didn't see this posted. My apologies if it's a repost. Youtu.be |

That is exactly what i want. Set the amount of shots, set a 2 second delay and let the camera do the bracketing right in a row without delay. Thanks for the quick reply!
