...the DA 50mm 1.8 is not actually in stock right now. The customer service rep stated that the purchase would be a 'presale' and the lens is on backorder at the time. They are trying to get the websited updated to reflect that. I checked, and as of a few minutes ago, the DA 50mm 1.8 is listed as in stock and ships in 1 business day. The customer service rep said the orders would be filled by the end of October.
I hope that helps anyone else who also place and order.

- the original focus screen is now in the case that came with the LL-80 and included in the purchase of the camera body

The shutter count is at 22500. Firmware version is 1.31. The camera is fully functioning and in excellent condition.

Yes, I see zero results for a search on 'Pentax'. Appears to be an issue with the site's search capabilities. Try a search for 'K-01' and you will get hits with usable links. Maybe try your specific search by model number until they repair the site?

I am keeping this brief...
I purchased a K-5IIs close to the time of its release and I really enjoy this camera. It has replaced my K10D, which now sits gathering dust. I have a parade event to photograph in the next month, and was considering carrying the K10D as a second camera. But the price drop on the K-01 has caught my attention.
So, what is your opinion? Purchase the K-01? Keep the K10D? Or is there another option I am not considering?
