I'm about to change my pentax 645D system for a digital back ( phase one P65+ ), so i think i'll sell the tilt and shift system I made ( including the lens APO DIGITAR 90mm ), so if any body here is interested in buying the tilt/shift adapter , send me an email :-)

Hello,
thank you for your advices,
for the moment I don't really need a wide angle lens for my setup, my pictures are most of the time taken with normal / long lens, even if i have a wide angle in my bag :-)

yes it is similar but with this adapter you have to add 40mm more to the 70mm camera mount, so the minimum focal lengh would be 110mm + spare room for lens movement and bellows ( around 130 mm minimum focal lengh ).
That's why i did not use this adapter for my building, i wanted to be abble to mount a 90mm .
but if you plan to use only long focal ... it could be a good and easy solution !

yes i 'll post some results when the lens will come back from schneider in germany:
i bought the 2 used optical elements ( apo digitar 90mm 4.5 for digital medium format ) whithout the shutter: the 645D has his own shutter so a copal 0 would have been useless, Schneider is mounting the optical elements on a IRIS mount ( only an aperture without shutter ) like the mounts for enlarging lenses. They don't have stock for that kind of mount and i have to wait 2 or 3 weeks before it's done ...

Thank you Henk :-)
you know, working with carbon fiber is not very hard, and i just put together existing elements, you just have to think and choose the right elements. Everything was found used on ebay, even optical elements of the lens, carbon fiber ...
the only things i really built myself is the 2 carbon fiber parts ( for the base and the link between the linhof front and the front focus element ), and the bellows.

yes, it could be 80mm without movements, but if you want to have room enough to move the lens for shifting and tilting, 90mm with a recessed lens board is ok,

thank you for your kind posts :)
the aperture is included in the digitar, but there is no link between the 645D and the lens, so i should change aperture manually on the lens. It's not really a problem : i'll shoot landscapes on a tripod so i have time to do things manually !
you have also a 645D review on my web site with full resolution images here : Pentax 645D

Hello,
i just finish the building of an accessory for my 645D to have lens tilt and shift.
the front part is taken from an old Linhof color 4x5 view camera, the micrometric focusing elements are from optical industry and all carbon fiber parts and bellows are home made :-)
the lens i will use is the Schneider Digitar 90mm, at the moment my lens is sent to germany for servicing but i hope to be able to take pictures with this system very soon !
you can see all building details on my web site here : Tilt and Shift sur Pentax 645D It is written in french but you can translate easily with google translation,
regards,
