Hi, I'm new to Pentax but not new to photography. I sold my film-based Nikon gear about 10 years ago and took a break. I decided that the digital world had finally stabilized enough for me to make a renewed investment. I primarily enjoy using manual cameras and lenses so the Pentax universe appealed to me. I bought a K-5 in September of this year and since purchased about 8 manual Takumars since. I cannot believe the incredible build quality and IQ of the old Taks. It's been a real pleasure learning about them and taking sample photos. I am learning so much more and faster than I ever could have back in the days of analog film (primarily because of the cost.)
Anyway, good to be here. I hope to start sharing some images soon.
