I use Leitax for my Contax lenses on my Pentax camera.
Leitax doesn't offer a conversion yet for the wide mount Contax lenses, like the Contax 100-300. Technically, Leitax confirmed me it can be done.
87.Contax*100-300*4.5-5.6*MM???PK_??UU
On this Chinese site I saw a conversion from C/Y using M42 to PK mount. Do you think this can be done using a standard M42 adapter and separate Leitax/pk mount together?

Last night, I asked David from Leitax, if it would be possible to make a PK mount for the Contax 100-300.
He replied it would be possible and is going to look into it. For me that lens is the holy grail of zooms. Just imagine, the K-1 with that lens, lighter (925 grams) and smaller in that zoom range then other modern offerings and with it's stunning IQ.
I already have the 35-70/3.4 and it's resolving power keeps amazing me. Would be great to have the 100-300 with it!

Hi Michiel,
I Leitaxed the CZ 50/1.7 myself (took me no time at all), but David from Leitax did my 35-70/3.4 because that one is rather difficult (according to David).
With the new mounts, both work perfect on my K-5. I live in Hilversum. Do you have another system to use your Contax lenses, or are they laying on the shelf?

I wish Leitax would also do a Pentax mount for the legendary Contax 100-300 mm. I am afraid it will never happen.

Lloyd Chambers mentioned in his blog from June 8 he has a Leitax K mount for his Zeiss 21/2.8 zf.2.
I remember David from Leitax was working on such a mount but I didn't know it is already possible.
Haven't seen it on the Leitax site. Is it a DIY thing from Lloyd?
