Do I need to upgrade from my K50?

FWIW, I agree with Adam. I have the K-5, K5iis and K3ii and if image quality is what you are after the KP would be the better option. Mind you I find that using the k-5iis, the image quality is very good but if I spread a little more time on technique and setting up the shot, the K-3ii does a fabulous job. I can only imagine how much better the KP would be (yes I have KP envy but waiting for the new APSC). Also price wise the KP is now a good buy at $746 at Adorama and B&H. Being a New Yorker like you, I find myself shopping at Adorama too often but in a good way.

Poll: Do you install a UV filter on all of your lens

I have UV filters or Clear Multi Coated filters for each one of my lenses. I almost always remove them with shooting except in severe adverse weather conditions.
Every the best of my UV/Clears filters (B&W, Hoya, and Sigma) you do see some IQ differences, and that's why I remove them when I can.
Also since I started with my first SLR, Canon AE-1 back in 1982, its hard to give up the habit. The filters are mainly only for protection.

I have filters from 49mm to 82mm and no issues other than low profile filters for my Sigma 10-20mm and Sigma 17-50mm. Protective filters come off when shooting but no issues with CPL and ND filters.

Advice for repairing tamron sp 90mm f/2.8 di macro

Amazon has the Tamron SP 90mm F2.8 macro Brand New for $499.00 so it seems like $400. is quite a bit of $$$ to fix a used lens you paid $200 for. Either way you are out the $50. You need to decide if you really use
the Tamron enough to replace it . If it was me, I would probably find one used on the forum (theres one available now) or at Adorama or B&H (running around $250.). Take the $50 credit and get soemthing else. Re-sell the
damaged Tamron 90mm for parts and get what you can for it. I have the Tamron 90mm and enjoy the lens but not enough to spend $400 to repair it when i can replace it used and save some $$$.

Just my $0.02 worth.... Do what works best for you.

Macro Lenses Suggestions

For whats its worth, the Sigma 70mm F2.8 EX DG Macro is a winner in my opinion. I've been using it with my K-5, K-5iis and K-3ii with stunning results.
Only issue I have is the Sigma hood precludes using a lens cap when its in place. Other than that its extremely sharp.

Buy a Leftover (new) K-3ii or a KP ?

I guess that would depend on what you would use the new APSC for in my opinion. If you need something with great low light High ISO ability, sharp jpegs right out of the camera, and a lighter weight body, then its the KP.
For me, I wanted the dual SDHC cards, flagship body, GPS, larger buffer and higher capacity battery, and to try out the astrotracer functionality of the K-3II.
The KP is a wonderful DSLR in its own right but I didn't like any of the grips and how it felt in my hands ultimately.
Regardless of which one you choose, you've made a very good choice.

How does the K-3II feel vs. K-50 & K-70?

For what its worth, I've handled the K-70, KP and K-3II when trying to make the decision where to go from my venerable K-5IIs which I love and still use.
Thanks to the folks on Pentaxforums, it made it easier to go with the K3II vs the K-70/KP. Just holding the K-3II, it feels like a camera should and IQ is pretty decent.
K-70 and KP felt "lacking" and the grips just didnt feel right.
Also K-3II 27 point SAFOX-11 AF system vs K-70 uses 11 point SAFOX-10 system with 9 cross type AF points factored in as well as GPS, Asstrotracer sold me.
Usually We are up in Alexandria/Natchitoches area around Thanksgiving week and I would have let you test drive the K-3II but this year we are staying home in NY.

Need Advice On Custom Desktop Computer Build...

For what its worth, I found HP Workstations look to be a good base for most of my PCs. Minimum 32GB RAM but i usually max it out at 64GB. Never settle for small desktop units (go Mid or Full Tower) as they have inadequate power supply. Video Card needs at least 2GB Ram and it should be a separate component and not on-board. Make sure your power supply is 650-700 watts minimum of power as you will need it if you start adding additional storage devices etc. I7 4 core or even I9 Ten core as CPU and Zeon CPU's tend not to be good CPUs when working with digital photo-processing and video work (I learned the hard way).
And if you can find a Windows 7 OS workstation, grab it. Windows 10 just seems too cludgy and performance in my opinion sucks.

Hope this helps.

Thank you and love those first two photos!
I feel the same way about my old DA 16-45mm F4. Its always accompanies me on road trips. For extended reach, I go to my 50-135mm F2.8 or 60-250mm F4 when needed.
