Almost none of them will work, we know. DA 40 LTD will work.
FF hopers are also hoping for the introduction of new lenses, to go with the few that work (FA 31, FA 43, FA 50 f1.4, FA 77), but there are obviously those with good legacy glass too.

I am too pretty much leaving Pentax (I have a D3 here waiting to go, just waiting for some lenses) - but seriously, the K-5 II owns a lot of Nikons, FFs or not, in a LOT of areas.
For starters, the Nikon menu system was designed by 'tards. It's not just "different" or "I'm not used to it." it's deadset retarded. Not just the menus but the camera controls themselves. Quick example, positive exposure compensation goes to the LEFT. I am aware the Japanese read backwards but they should face the fact that the generally accepted standard is LEFT TO RIGHT, meaning positive would be RIGHT. You can change the direction you flick the dial in order to make it happen, but not the retarded right to left business. You can also change the direction for aperture... but it then doesn't match compensation. No matter which way around you have, SOMETHING is at odds with something else - and this is just the very very beginning of a cesspool of horrible design. HORRIBLE.
Pentax is on the other hand is clean, clear and logical.
Then there are Nikon lens caps. Small thing you say... OK so why can't they get it right. Get a DA Pentax lens cap, then a cheap Sigma lens cap, then a Nikon one, and the Sigma one craps all over the Nikon one... and the Pentax craps all over them both.
Then there is the shutter sound that woke the bloody neighbours. Is this a useless feature?

No but there are bags that aren't really made by Pentax that still say Pentax, only small ones but I thought someone might know of a big one.
Pentax did make bags once upon a time, I have one from the film era that is quite large but the zips are all completely stuffed.
I might do the embroidery one, thanks.

Thanks but I am not new to the whole CONCEPT of bags.
This is for wedding use only, where my bag will be on me basically all of the time and not to stereotype, but not a whole heap of crack heads hang out at weddings.
Having a bag that looks like trash isn't a good look at weddings.

dude, I didn't know they made a bag that could fit that beast. The FA 600 is about the biggest lens you can get for Pentax!

so, I am looking for a BIG bag - the layout doesn't really matter but it needs to hold two bodies and about 6 lenses plus other stuff - but I'd really like it to have "PENTAX" on it, even if it's not actually real Pentax.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

The aperture doesn't stop down until the photo is taken anyway so what are you guys talking about?

This guy has it right,
The O.P. is just massively over thinking it anyway, and besides that, they get a few things wrong.

Does any1 else often get the itch to move to Cannon or Nikon for a FF, but stay with pentax NOT because of FA lenses or whatever else, but because they just like the way pentax do things?
Like, I like the menus, the look of the cameras, the non-fuss around it - the underdog status. Everytime I look at Can/Nikon lenses and bodies, I think "this is just stupid", e.g. $1700 for a second hanf 5D mk2. So that's $800 more than a K-5 II which has better AF and similar high ISO. it's madness and i dont like it and THAT's why I stay with Pentax, not because of FF glass i have.

I've heard so many contradictory things about the crop factor of a 645D to FF or APS-C camera.
On THIS very forum, when the 90mm f2.8 was announced, the official post said it was equivalent to a 60mm on APS-C... Um, what? How can that be right. 90mm on 36x24mm is equiv. to a 60mm on a 1.5x crop... so unless the 645D has a full frame sensor... which it doesn't... that's wrong.
Now I realise it's not 'simple' because the 645D is 4:3 not 3:2 but by my maths - I get that a 645D lens, you should halve it, then add a bit, to get an equivalent length on APS-C - that is, the 90mm on 645D would be about 47-48mm for us APS-Cers...
Am I wrong?

Hi guys,
hard to explain but what is happening is just a little bit annoying;
I am using Aperture priority like normal, but the other day since using live view for most of a shoot, I went back to using the OVF, and instead of just showing where my EV compensation is (say I set it to +0.3) - it flashes a little dash at each end of the scale, and one in the middle, (that is, one at -5 EV, one at 0 and one at +5) - and the dashes dont appear in between.
I checked the shutter speed on the top screen and it was 1/2000 - so well clear of any highest or lowest shutter speeds - and when I take the photo it's fine - it's just annoying because I can't see where my EV compensation is and a thing is blinking at me in the viewfinder...
The other thing is, on Live View, I use the electronic level - and the other day (before the first problem was happening) it served me well for most of the day but then, it did the same thing I am describing for the EV in the viewfinder - it did that in the electronic level on the screen, as in, a flash at either end and in the middle, for BOTH AXIES (axis? axiiiies?) - so I couldn't use the level, and the camera was basically perfectly level, so again it wasn't that it couldn't get a reading for being so crooked.
Now, I ask because it seems like I've turned a setting on or something - I wouldn't bet it was broken.
