PentaxForums.com Marketplace Listing Item for Sale
DA* 16-50mm; DA* 50-135mm; FA 50mm f/1.4 Asking Price
Various, see description Item Location
Albany NY Item Description
Selling my Pentax Kit: SOLD SMC DA* 16-50mm f/2.8 - $600 + s&h SOLD
This lens is beauty, optically and mechanically it functions perfectly. I went through 3 other copies before I was satisfied with it's sharpness and focusing. This one is spot on and tack sharp. Only thing to note is a small scuff on the hood (pictured), I accidentally dropped the hood (not the whole lens) while I was trying to put it on, and scuffed the side of it. It is strictly cosmetic and really isn't noticeable but I want to mention it. Includes original box and bag. SOLD SMC DA* 50-135mm f/2.8 - $700 + s&h SOLD
By far my favorite Pentax lens, this thing takes unbelievable pictures. Optically and cosmetically the lens is in wonderful condition. Everything functions perfectly, the SDM is fast, accurate and quiet. Includes original Box and Bag. SOLDSMCP-FA 50mm f/1.4 with square hood - $250 + s&hSOLD
A great copy of this lens, excellent condition optically and mechanically. Functions perfectly. Includes a Pentax brand square hood. Functions the same as a regular hood but looks pretty dang cool if you ask me. Includes original boxes. Are you the original owner of the item being sold?

It's an interesting combination of patterns, works quite well in the abstract, nicely executed.

Traffic was absolutely nuts, worse I've seen it in the 4 years of going. We left Albany at 4:30 and didn't get to the airport until about 6:45.... the last 2 miles took over an hour, balloons were launching while we were waiting out on the road which is a really frustrating sight after getting up so early. Luckily we were out of the car when the bulk of them started going up. We waited in traffic again for an hour when we left, which has never happened either, usually it's no problem getting out of there....oh well. It was a fun morning.
I wasn't @ Lake George that afternoon, I was on Broadway in Albany for the 1st annual Oktoberfest....left the camera at home for that one. I generally don't drink and shoot :D

Great shot and PP work. The lighting on his face is perfect, and the expression makes it.

Went to the balloon fest this weekend in Glens Falls NY, not only was it cold but the fog rolled in about 15 mins after the sun came up. I managed to get a few shots while the sun was shining through the mist....beyond that things got pretty damp and boring...all in all made for a fun day.
Shot with K20 and 16-50 or 50-135

Dennis, I presume this was from Glens Falls this weekend?? I was up there as well. Saturday morning was freezing, I like your shots though. Where were you shooting from?
I kept my eyes peeled for other pentaxians but couldn't find anybody :D
I got to the airport just before sunrise and was able to shoot off a few shots as the sun was coming up but after about 15 mins the fog rolled in thick and the pictures from there on were worthless....
I'll start another thread with my shots, don't want to rain on your parade.
Nice work!

Right you are Lee, thanks for correcting me on that one (I edited the original post). You're right this flash is quite a lot better than the 360 (at least I think so) the swivel head alone puts it ahead by a mile, and added power is nice too.
I actually have 2 of these. The reason I'm selling this one is because I'm getting out of weddings and selling off a lot of gear (but not to worry, I'm staying with Pentax :) ) I'm selling my 540Fgz and keeping my other Metz 48 as my primary flash if that says anything about it capabilities.
Thanks again Lee for setting me straight. :D
