I agree with A. I don't care for B (I'm not against it, just indifferent).
I would add:
C: An option to have the LCD reflect estimated exposure in manual mode (the image gets dark if underexposed...) This option is turned off automatically during manual focus.
D: Allow the press of the info button during image capture to turn on and off the display of over/under exposure. It is a bit bothersome to have it on all the time, but there are too many button presses to turn it on and off.

I prefer this warmer version, but both are nice.

Thanks. I guess that makes sense. So in M mode the LCD should be used like an optical viewfinder, for composition and focusing only.

Ah! I didn't notice that, I went straight into manual mode. Thanks!
PS: Manual mode has the advantage when you want to shoot with specific settings. With Av or Tv modes if the light changes the settings change.

I also got my Q. My first surprise is that I actually like the color it produces.
I have a quick question: when shooting in Manual exposure mode the screen doesn't change with the changes in aperture and shutter speed. Even the histogram doesn't change, it doesn't show what will be taken. I've looked at the manual and I can't see where I can change this behavior..

Hello,
I'm a new pentax user, and I must say that thanks to this forum. Ever since the Pentax Q was introduced I was intrigued. I started following this forum and I loved most of the pictures posted on the Q thread, so when the price went down with the introduction of the Q10 I ordered one. I'm still waiting for it to arrive.
I must say that I started photographing with my father's Pentax LX, a camera I loved too much, and that unfortunately I lost during a trip. My next camera was a Pentax K1000. Unfortunately, that was a while ago and I drifted away from the brand. I am very happy to be back with the brand and I hope the Q meets my expectations.
