For me an acquisition rather than a purchase. I was given a 6x7 with a 55/1.4, a 150/1:3.8, a 135/1:4 and a 90/1:2.8 along with extension tubes, teleconverter, etc.
To add to my K1 and K3.

Welcome.
I have the Sigma 105 and I love it. It's light enough for hand held shots of bugs and flowers and it has excellent stats and reviews. It's also excellent for use as a medium tele and portrait lens.

I commute 14km each way from April to November along the Colonel By parkway. Some mornings are so beautiful I slow down just to admire the scenery. Last year I used to occasionaly bring my *IST DS in a trunk bag. I've just traded up to a K10D. I don't think I want to put the K10D in the trunk bag. I have been looking at the Lowepro Slingshot bags to use for light duty carrying on hikes and cycle trips. Did your Slingshot bag slip at all? For me, not slipping is as important as safe storage.
If you find the slingshot too warm Ortlieb make a handlebar bag that you can put camera bag inserts in. See Ortlieb Products » Bicycle Bag Add-Ons » Ortlieb » Camera Insert for Ultimate 4.

Sling bags, do they sling?

I have the K10D (Xmas present to myself) and I love it. I'm awaiting the arrival of the grip and I was thinking that I'd like to get a Lowepro Slingshot 100 or 200 as a light load travelling bag.
I have two questions about the bags; will they handle the camera with the grip attached, do they stay in place ? I have a daypack type of sling bag that my wife and I use to carry sandwiches etc. on hikes but the thing will NOT stay where I want it, which is high up out and out of the way. For me that is more important than capacity.
TIA
